Here's a look at how former Gators, now in the NFL, fared in Week 4 of the 2023 season.

Anthony Richardson returns, leads near-comeback

After a concussion suffered two weeks ago kept him out of last week's game, Anthony Richardson returned as the starting quarterback and nearly led Indianapolis to a late comeback win against the Los Angeles Rams.

Down 23-0 midway through the third quarter, Richardson, who accounted for 256 total yards on the day, threw for two touchdowns, rushed for another and threw for two two-point conversions to tie the game with less than two minutes left. Los Angeles would go on to win 29-23 in overtime.

The fourth overall pick also made history with his performance. With his rushing touchdown on Sunday, Richardson has produced four rushing touchdowns over his first three career starts, an NFL record for quarterbacks.

In his third start, Richardson went 11-for-25 with 200 yards and two touchdowns passing to go with 10 rushing attempts for 56 yards and a touchdown on the ground. He also fumbled twice, losing one of them. He is now 1-2 as a starting quarterback in the NFL.

More highlights of Richardson from Week 4 can be found below.

Dameon Pierce and Jon Greenard shine for Houston

The young Houston Texans seem to have found their grove, in large part due to the play of two former Gators, running back Dameon Pierce and edge rusher Jon Greenard

In a dominating 30-6 win over Pittsburgh on Sunday, Pierce rushed for a season-high 81 yards on 24 carries. He also added a 27-yard catch and run to set up the game's first touchdown.

Defensively, Houston completely stifled the Steelers' offense behind a two-sack game from Greenard

On the day, Greenard had five total tackles, two sacks and three tackles-for-loss. He now leads the Texans with three sacks and five tackles-for-loss through the first four weeks of the season, already surpassing his total from last season.

Greenard discussed his performance on SportsRadio 610's Texans Postgame Show.
