DL Michai Boireau Reveals Florida Official Visit Date

Hampton (Ga.) Creekside 2024 defensive lineman Michai Boireau revealed his plans to official visit Florida from June 9-11 on Tuesday evening.

The trip will mark Boireau's first of three scheduled official visits. He intends to check out Ole Miss from June 16-18 and Michigan from June 23-25 following his time in Gainesville, Fla.

Florida was included in Boireau's top eight schools, which were unveiled on May 17, alongside Ole Miss, Michigan, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M.

Of Florida's 30 anticipated official visitors across the first two weeks of June, including 17 from this past weekend, Boireau is one of nine defensive linemen/edge rushers the Gators have displayed a serious interest in thus far.

Another four defensive trenchmen are expected to officially visit UF before the month concludes.

Boireau, 6-foot-5, 350 pounds, is currently an unranked in the 247Sports composite rankings. His recruitment, consisting of 23 scholarship offers, gained momentum earlier this year as 12 Power 5 opportunities have been presented to Boireau since January.

His first offer, however, came from his home-state program, Georgia, in Oct. 2020.

Primarily aligning between the three-technique and nose tackle positions for Creekside, Boireau accumulated 43 total tackles, four sacks and seven tackles for loss. He also has experience as anoffensive lineman at the prep level.
