The last known addition to Florida's offensive line of the future from the class of 2024 has put the pen to paper.

Consensus three-star offensive tackle Mike Williams of Charles Herbert Flowers (Upper Marlboro, Md.) inked his National Letter of Intent on Wednesday afternoon, becoming the latest official member of the Gators' early signing class.

Previously a South Carolina commit, Williams re-opened his recruitment on May 23 and committed to Florida on June 12 over USC, Michigan State, Miami and others.

A staple in Billy Napier's recruitment of offensive linemen has been tremendous size, especially at the tackle position. Williams fits that bill according to Napier and offensive line coaches Rob Sale and Darnell Stapleton's evaluations.

Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 310 pounds, Williams provides Florida with much-needed help and long-term potential at the tackle position. 247Sports ranks Williams as the No. 34 overall tackle in the 2024 class.

Although he was the last offensive line pledge to sign with UF on Wednesday, Williams was the first of the group to commit to the school this cycle.

Williams will look to help revamp a Florida offensive line that struggled with consistency in 2023 alongside fellow high school signees Fletcher Westphal, Marcus Mascoll and Noel Portnjagin, as well as transfer portal addition Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson from San Diego State.

Florida also has preferred walk-ons Chase Stevens (Vero Beach, Fla.) and Mark Faircloth (Tallahassee, Fla.) in its 2024 haul of commitments.

Formerly committed to SEC rival South Carolina, Williams picked Florida over USC, Michigan State and Miami among other contending programs. An extremely physical, heavy-handed offensive tackle with a towering frame, Williams has slimmed down from the 330-pound range to 310 pounds this offseason and is expected to display greater athleticism and fluidity on the field as a senior as a result. Although Florida will coach him up on both sides of the offensive line, Williams primarily brings right tackle playing experience to the table.
