Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney 2024 cornerback Teddy Foster is scheduled to pick one of his top three schools — Florida, Miami and North Carolina — Friday at 7 p.m. ET.

Foster's commitment live stream, which will broadcast on his high school's Instagram page, can be accessed here

Friday's pledge will conclude a recruitment that quickly accelerated over the summer. Although he may not have the name recognition of other cornerbacks in his class, FBS programs nationwide took a liking to Foster's skill set over the last year and have since pressed for his commitment, including UF.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Foster is viewed as the No. 67 cornerback and No. 757 overall prospect in the class of 2024 by the 247Sports composite rankings. He produced 38 tackles, nine pass breakups and two interceptions during his breakout 2022 campaign.

Since emerging on the recruiting scene as a junior, Foster has picked up scholarship offers from 17 Power 5 programs. Florida entered the picture on May 23, following his workout in front of defensive backs coach Corey Raymond and head coach Billy Napier.

Foster returned to UF for an official visit from June 16-18.

Should Foster pick the Gators, he would become Florida's first cornerback commitment in the cycle. He would join McKinney (Texas) High safety Xavier Filsaime and Nashville (Ga.) Berrien safety Josiah Davis as defensive back pledges in the haul.
