Can Jordan Travis Win the Heisman at Florida State?

In this story:
Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis is coming off the best season yet of his career as he enters his sixth year at the college level. It hasn't always been the best for Travis after transferring from the University of Louisville to the Seminoles in 2019, led by then-head coach Willie Taggart.
The quarterback carousel that wrapped around the Taggart era only partially shed light on Travis' abilities as a signal caller. Fans and media long considered him one-dimensional, as he had to share repetitions with James Blackman, Alex Hornibrook, and later McKenzie Milton under current head coach Mike Norvell.

Those notions have been dispelled, and now firmly in the starting role, Travis is the highest-graded player returning at quarterback for the 2023 season, grading out at 91.7, according to Pro Football Focus. He is also a high favorite to win the Heisman.
According to the latest odds released by Vegas Insider, Jordan Travis ranks No. 2 among the contenders for the coveted award in New York this year. FanDuel and Caesar's Sportsbook have him listed at (+1200), while PointsBet and DraftKings have slightly higher odds at (+1000). The top spot is currently held by USC's Caleb Williams, with odds of (+500, +450, +500, +550) across the four sportsbooks.
Travis has appeared in 35 games during his tenure at FSU, completing 426 out of 689 passing attempts for 5,888 yards and 45 touchdowns. He has also amassed 1,734 rushing yards and 24 rushing touchdowns on 336 carries and one touchdown reception. Last season he threw for 3214 yards and 24 touchdowns to five interceptions and ended with a QB rating of 85.8. He also accounted for 417 yards on the ground and seven scores.
