College Football Playoff Committee Shuts Down Contact Page After Outrage Over Florida State's Snub
Days have passed but the feeling of betrayal and being cheated is still fresh in the minds of Florida State fans. After compiling a 13-0 record and winning an ACC championship, the Seminoles were at the forefront of a Sunday Screwjob while becoming the first undefeated Power Five Conference Champion to be held out of the playoff.
A selection committee compiled of 13 people in a conference room made the decision to prevent Florida State from competing for a national title, costing the program millions of dollars in the process. That isn't sitting right with millions of people around the country and the outrage is being directed in a variety of ways.
As expected, the College Football Playoff had its website bombarded in the aftermath of Florida State being left out of the field. Fans eventually found a way to directly voice their opinions to the committee via a contact page that listed an address (545 East John Carpenter Freeway, Suite 1025, Irving, Texas, 75062), phone number (469-262-5200), and email address (info@collegefootballplayoff.com).
At some point within the last few days, an adjustment was made to take the page down. When utilizing the URL to the webpage, users are instead given a 404 error and a message that the page no longer exists.
The pressure appears to have made an impact on the committee to take a step like this. Listed below are all the members of the fraudulent group that wronged Florida State as well as the email addresses and phone numbers of those who are available to reach them.
