Despite holding a 30-9-1 edge in the series over Wake Forest, FSU has struggled in recent memory, dropping three games to the Demon Deacons dating back to 2019. This will be an opportunity for the Seminoles to stay undefeated while putting their demons from the past behind them.

Ahead of the contest, there are a couple of players to watch for the Seminoles. Star wide receiver Johnny Wilson went down in the last game and didn't return while fellow starter Destyn Hill was unavailable for the win against Duke.

Head coach Mike Norvell stated earlier in the week that defensive tackle Dennis Briggs would be unlikely to play in the game. There have also been multiple players who have been unavailable as of late including running back CJ Campbell, defensive back Edwin Joseph, defensive back KJ Kirkland, and defensive back Ja'Bril Rawls.

NoleGameday will be keeping an eye on the players mentioned above and more to determine who is available to play on Saturday. Follow along below for updates before the Seminoles kick off against the Demon Deacons.

— In a promising trend in the right direction, true freshman quarterback Brock Glenn continues to take steps in his recovery from a non-throwing hand injury. He traveled with the team and is warming up prior to the game.

— There is a trio of wide receivers missing for the Seminoles during warmups as Johnny Wilson, Destyn Hill, and Hykeem Williams have not been spotted. If all three are out, Florida State's depth will be heavily tested.

— Running back CJ Campbell is not among the rest of his position group. Everyone else looks good to go.

— Both of Wake Forest's potential starting quarterbacks in Mitch Griffis and Santino Marucci are warming up. Griffis wasn't available last week due to an undisclosed injury.

— Mitch Griffis will start at quarterback for the Demon Deacons according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.

— The receivers have come out in full pads and Wilson, Hill, and Williams aren't among the group. The Seminoles will be looking at players such as Kentron Poitier and Ja'Khi Douglas to step up alongside Keon Coleman.

— Offensive lineman Darius Washington is dressed out and warming up. It was expected after he played last weekend.

— Offensive lineman Robert Scott is also available for the game today after being limited in his last appearance.

— As expected, defensive tackle Dennis Briggs will miss the game against Wake Forest.

— Edwin Joseph and KJ Kirkland are also OUT for Florida State.
