The Florida State Seminoles are set to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in the 90th Orange Bowl on December 30 but not without its own fair share of controversy. The 13-0 Seminoles were historically snubbed from the playoffs in favor of a 12-1 Texas and Alabama, which set into motion a departure on the roster that has developed into exodus proportions. FSU will be without over 14 starters for the matchup and is down to one scholarship quarterback in former 4-star freshman Brock Glenn, who looks to lead the 'Noles again to a landmark victory after winning the ACC just weeks ago.

Head coach Mike Norvell and the Seminoles landed in Miami on Christmas Day in preparation for the Bulldogs, and Norvell sent out a message in the wake of the final game after his best season at the helm.

"The world will let fear affect it, life can be full of disappointing moments, and will always have competition. Be true and honest in the moment you then you can live with all the results. Excited and grateful for each opportunity"

Norvell is known for his inspiring speeches and is currently in the running for multiple coaching awards. The challenge that awaits the 'Noles in Miami will likely be another teaching and turning point in Florida State's trajectory back to national prominence.

Georgia is currently favored by 17 points and marks the only game this season where Florida State enters as an underdog. The matchup is set to take place at 4:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN.
