Multiple Seminoles Join Jordan Travis In Hospital To Provide Support In Aftermath Of Injury

In this story:
There's no doubt that Florida State has developed into a special team on the field. After all, the Seminoles have won 17 consecutive games under head coach Mike Norvell while securing back-to-back double-digit win seasons. The turnaround on the field has been evident but the progress off the field has been even more impressive.
When Norvell and his staff arrived in Tallahassee four years ago, the locker room was in shambles after the disasters that occurred at the end of the Jimbo Fisher Era and throughout the Willie Taggart Era. The roster was slowly mended through the high school and portal ranks with the team shedding plenty of dead weight along the way.
The culture has perhaps never been more clear than over the last 48 hours in the aftermath of star quarterback Jordan Travis going down with a serious injury. Despite being carted off and hospitalized, the redshirt senior continued to root for his team throughout the comeback win over North Alabama while watching the game on a phone.
BREAKING: Florida State Quarterback Jordan Travis Suffers Serious Injury Against North Alabama
Shortly after the contest went final, numerous players joined Travis at the hospital, including standout wide receiver and close friend, Johnny Wilson. Multiple Seminoles continued to share their support for their leader on Sunday as players such as Tate Rodemaker, Brock Glenn, Dylan McNamara, Jared Verse, Jeremiah Byers, Jarrian Jones, Fabien Lovett, Tatum Bethune, Kalen DeLoach, Darius Washington, and Destyn Hill were spotted at Travis' side.
This just shows how different things are at Florida State with the close friendships and life-long bonds that these players have built with one another. It's even more impressive when you consider that guys such as Wilson, Verse, Byers, Jones, Lovett, and Bethune all began their college careers elsewhere. Heck, Travis did as well.
The ability to form relationships this deep in such a short time period is a testament to all of the parties involved.
This is what makes #FSU special.

Following the game against North Alabama, Jones went into detail about how much Travis means to Florida State. Defensive tackle Dennis Briggs echoed his sentiments.
"That's our leader. That's our guy. That's my brother. I don't know how to -- that's Trav, man. Ain't nothing in the world we won't do for him," Jones said on Saturday. "To see him go through that and while he was on the ground just saying, 'I'm good, I'm good', like, that's him. That's J. Trav. We just had to come back and finish it for J. Trav. I knew what J. Trav would have wanted us to do. I know how he would have felt in the moment. That's really all I have to say about that."
"Just to go off what he said, J. Trav is our guy," Briggs added. "We have his back, and that's really just the message in the locker room. We're forever going to have his back."
It won't be easy for the Seminoles to move forward without Travis on the field. However, the strong culture that has been established from the top to the bottom of the roster at Florida State will help the team prevail during this tough time for the program.
