The Florida State Seminoles only have one player projected to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft in a recently unveiled mock draft.

EDGE Jared Verse and wide receiver Keon Coleman have been slated to go in the first round of the upcoming draft for months, with the latest mocks placing Verse near or inside the top half of the round and Coleman somewhere after.

CBS Sports released a new mock draft on Monday with Verse going No. 19 to the Los Angeles Rams and Coleman falling outside of the mock draft entirely. Just a day ago, CBS Sports had Coleman going No. 22 in their latest mock. Most outlets have him as the No. 4 or No. 5 receiver in the draft.

"Third-round rookie Byron Young was a pleasant surprise off the edge in 2023, but the Rams need another reliable pass-rusher on the other side," CBSSports' Kyle Stackpole wrote. "Enter Jared Verse, a powerful specimen who racked up nine sacks in each of the past two seasons for Florida State."

Over the course of two seasons with the Seminoles, Verse has collected 89 total tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, and 18 sacks. Verse also deflected three passes, recovered two fumbles, and forced one.

Coleman being placed outside of the first round hasn't been seen from CBSSports in a while, but nevertheless, they have five receivers taken in the first round rather than him - including Marvin Harrison Jr. at No. 4, Malik Nabers at No. 6, Rome Odunze at No. 12, Brian Thomas at No. 28, and Adonai Mitchell at No. 32.

The 2024 NFL Draft will take place April 25-27, 2024 at Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit, Michigan.
