The NBA's 82-game regular season is winding down and the playoffs are just around the corner. That has teams across the league jockeying for position to get in a spot for a postseason run. In the process, it can lead to frustration in the heat of competition.

On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Clippers came up short at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was a disappointing defeat that could hurt the Clippers moving forward as star Paul George was injured in the final minutes.

There were also a couple of calls that ended up going against Los Angeles in a one-point loss to Oklahoma City. In the second quarter, Kawhi Leonard was raked across his off-arm while driving to the hoop and protested with a single clap while staring at an official on the baseline. Leonard was promptly called for a technical foul which ignited his teammate, forward Terance Mann.

Mann protested with the official and was awarded a technical foul before swinging his arms at his sides. The gesture prompted the ref to call another technical and eject Mann from the game, the first of his professional career. He angrily walked off into the tunnel and nearly threw a basketball into the playing area but instead made the right decision by dropping the ball and going back to the locker room.

Following the game, Crew Chief Curtis Blair offered an explanation of why Mann was ejected.

"After the no call on Kawhi, when the official gave Kawhi the first technical foul, he [Mann] points aggressively at the official and got the first technical foul. After that he used profanity towards the official and got the second technical foul and was therefore ejected from the game."
