The good news continues to roll in for the Seminoles during a productive month of July. After landing five commitments over the past two weeks, Florida State doesn't look like it'll be slowing down anytime soon.

On Friday afternoon, three-star offensive lineman Tye Hylton announced his decision to commit to FSU over Florida, Miami, and Penn State on Instagram. Hylton is the second pledge for the Seminoles along the offensive line in as many days, joining Jonathan Daniels in #Tribe24.

Florida State has been trending in the right direction for Hylton over the last couple of weeks after hosting him for an official visit during the final weekend of June. He also took trips to Florida, Miami, and Penn State last month but the close connections between the players and coaches in Tallahassee were one of the factors that made the difference in the end.

"It's really like the brotherhood. Everybody here is tight, close," Hylton said to NoleGameday previously. "I really like that, me personally, because of my development and stuff like that. The older guys helping out."

Hylton is an offensive lineman with the versatility to play multiple positions at the next level. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him suit up at center, guard, or tackle as he continues to fill out his developing frame. There's a lot to like about the skill set that he brings to the table and it makes one wonder why his recruiting ranking is still so low.

The Florida native is physical at the point of attack and plays through the whistle. His film is essentially a four-minute compilation of Hylton bullying opposing defenders at the line of scrimmage and getting plenty of pancakes at the second level and beyond. Hylton also displays the ability to pull out and block while on the move which is something that he'll have to do at Florida State.

There's no question that he's going to need to develop and shore up aspects of his game. That's exactly why he chose to play his college career under Alex Atkins, who already has a plan for Hylton.

"He said that he coached plenty of guys like me that came in small and then grew up big," Hylton said. "Athletic big men and then he turns them into good offensive linemen so that's his plan for me."

With his pledge, Florida State's class ranks No. 11 in the country with 17 verbal commitments.

More good news could be on the horizon with four-star running back Micahi Danzy, three-star defensive back Kevin Levy, and three-star defensive back Ashton Hampton expected to announce their decisions.

The 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive lineman is regarded as the No. 955 overall prospect, the No. 72 OT, and the No. 128 recruit in the state of Florida in the 2024 class according to 247Sports.
