"Right now, Florida State's probably No. 1 right now," Solomon said to NoleGameday's Dustin Lewis following his official visit. "No. 1 for sure. All I needed was this last visit, and they set it off. They never disappointed."
In his junior year, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound ATH amassed 86 receptions for 1,210 yards and ten touchdowns for the Schley County Wildcats. The team, which finished the season with a 12-3 record, competed in the Peach State Class A Division II championship. He also returned a kickoff for a touchdown. On the defensive side, he was credited with 29 tackles, four pass breakups, and three interceptions.
The 'Noles have taken deliberate steps to communicate their interest in Solomon, ensuring he understands his value to the team. Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller and defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. have been the main recruiters aiming to secure his commitment for the upcoming 2024 class. The Seminoles already have locked in 15 commitments, and adding Solomon will be important. The class currently sits at No. 13 and will likely receive a bump with the addition.
Kentucky, Auburn, Texas A&M, and South Carolina are among the other schools Solomon listed that are vying for his talents. As the recruitment process unfolds, which program will ultimately land this highly sought-after prospect remains to be seen.
