Mekhi Mews Finds New Home for 2024 Season
Former Georgia walk-on and special teams starter, Mekhi Mews entered the NCAA Transfer Portal during it's most recent opening and the former Bulldog has found a new home he announced on social media Wednesday.
Mews will be transferring to the Houston Cougars and play out the rest of his eligibility in the Big 12. Mews entered the Georgia program as a walk-on that passed up several other full ride scholarships at non-power-5 schools. Now, Mews will transfer to the Cougars and achieve his goal of being a scholarship player in the power-5.
