Georgia Would Be Favored Against the Two National Championship Contenders

With all of the "snub" talk from this year's CFP, recent reports indicate that the Georgia Bulldogs would be favored against Michigan and Washington.

College football's 2023 season is winding down as the national championship has been set. An exciting weekend of semifinal games proved that the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines and the No. 2 Washington Huskies were the cream of the crop, solidifying their spots in the national title game next Monday.

This past weekend, the No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs also dismantled the No. 5 Florida State Seminoles. The back-to-back national champions won't have a chance to defend their title, but they would be favored against the two contenders for this year's title, according to a recent report.

Hard Rock Bet came out with a hypothetical scenario for the national title game on Monday and lined Georgia up against both The Wolverines and The Huskies. They fund that the Dawgs would be favored against Michigan (-2.5) and Washington (-6.5)

Although it is a hypothetical scenario, it would be intriguing to see how these teams stack against each other on the field. An argument could be made for every position on the field as to who had the better players, but the college football world will never know how that hypothetical scenario would turn out.

The No. 1 Michigan Wolverines will take on the No. 2 Washington Huskies next Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Houston, TX.
