Georgia Football Injury Report- 11/20

  • OG, Tate Ratledge (Knee) - "Tate is good. He has a bone bruise. He banged knees like we thought. He was sore yesterday and is sore today. No structural damage, so that's good."
  • WR, RaRa Thomas (FOOT) - "RaRa has a minor foot sprain, it's probably better classified as a bone bruise in his foot.
  • CB Julian Humphrey (Upper Body) - DOUBTFUL Humphrey had begun to earn more reps in the Georgia defense prior to suffering an upper-body injury in last week's game against Ole Miss. The sophomore left the Ole Miss game in the first half and did not return. While Georgia Head Coach Kirby Smart was non-committal regarding the nature of Humphrey's injury, he remains doubtful to play Saturday against Tennessee.
  • ILB Jamon Dumas-Johnson (Forearm) - DOUBTFUL Dumas-Johnson missed Georgia's win over Ole Miss after suffering a fractured forearm the prior in the game against Missouri. Smart declined to offer specifics regarding the preseason All-American's progress but did reveal that "it's week to week. We're trying to get him back."
  • TE Brock Bowers (Ankle) - IN "Brock feels good. I think he's a little sore. What's happening is he's using it more. There's more soreness during the game than there is during the week. We go lighter on him early in the week because if you don't he will overwork himself."
    • Bowers was forced to miss Georgia's wins over Florida and Missouri after suffering a high ankle sprain in the Bulldogs' game against Vanderbilt on Oct. 14, but the two-time All-American made his return last week against Ole Miss, playing extensively against the Rebels. Smart indicated that Bowers was dealing with some soreness in the aftermath of last week's game, but he is expected to once again suit up and take the field this weekend in Knoxville.
  • WR Ladd McConkey (Ankle) - IN "Yeah, he's got a tweaked ankle that he tweaked in the game against Ole Miss. He was able to go some during the week, but he wasn't able to go much. It's nothing more severe than that. Claude said there are questions about tightrope surgery, but that's not the case at all, I don't know where that's coming from at all.
    • McConkey, who missed Georgia's first four games of the season with a lingering back injury, left Saturday's game against Ole Miss and did not return. However, he was made available for post-game interviews and indicated that he simply rolled his ankle and will be available to play against Tennessee. Smart also indicated after the Ole Miss game that McConkey could have returned to the game if needed.
