Todd Monken a Head Coach Candidate for Multiple NFL Organizations

In this story:
The NFL regular season concluded this past Sunday, which means some organizations have already begun the search for a new head coach for the 2024 season. That also means that reports are starting to come out about which coaches are being requested for interviews, and one coach is already receiving interest after his first year back in the professional football league.
Current Baltimore Ravens and former Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken has reportedly been contacted by both the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Chargers have invited Monken for an interview to fill their head coaching void. The former Georgia coach decided to make the switch back to the NFL in February of 2023 after helping lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back national titles.
This season with the Ravens, Monken has helped the offense average 28.4 points per game, which ranks fourth in the league. The organization also finished as the top playoff seed in the AFC and is considered the Super Bowl favorite by many. A big reason for that is Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson is having his best season statistically in his professional career. His 3,678 passing yards, 67.2 completion percentage and 12 yards per completion are all career highs for the former league MVP.
It didn't take long for Monken to become a hot name on the market during his time in Athens, and now the same can be said for his return to the NFL. He has been around the football coaching landscape since 1989 and success has continued to follow him. He was a head coach at Southern Miss from 2013-15 but has never been a head coach in the NFL. But that might not ring true for too much longer.
