Carson Beck Ranked in Most Recent Heisman Trophy Odds

Despite not starting a game for the Bulldogs during his four-year career, Carson Beck has garnered lots of attention during this offseason. After an impressive showing on G-Day, the senior has presumably locked up the title of "QB1" for the Bulldogs. With that, Vegas has given Beck +3000 odds to take home the Heisman Trophy for the 2023 season.
According to Fanduel, Beck's odds are currently the 14th highest in the country and the third highest in the SEC behind Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton and LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels.
While being ranked 14th in Heisman odds ahead of the season make Beck winning the trophy seem highly unlikely. Bulldog fans should remember that Stetson Bennett was even further down the rankings this time last year. Bennett of course, would go on to have the most productive season for a quarterback in UGA history, which featured a trip to New York as a Heisman finalist and a national championship MVP.
Beck and the Bulldogs will begin their regular season campaign in Athens on September 2, when they host UT-Martin in their season opener.
