Georgia Flips 2024 Running Back Chauncey Bowens

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are continuing their hot streak on the 2024 recruiting trail. This time it comes in the form of a de-commitment from their arch-rival.

The Georgia Bulldogs stayed hot on the recruiting trail this week, as they earned yet another commitment for their 2024 recruiting class. This time it was running Chauncey Bowens from North Palm Beach, FL. But this commitment may mean a little more to Georgia fans, as he was formerly committed to playing for the Florida Gators before he decided to flip his commitment to the Bulldogs.

Bowens is currently ranked as one of the top 250 players nationally for the 2024 class. He will be a big pickup for the Bulldogs, who always want to bolster their depth at the running back position.

This recent commitment only proves the ability of Kirby Smart as a recruiter. Smart has consistently had his team in the conversation of a top-three recruiting class since he took over at Georgia and is looking to further solidify the Bulldogs as one of the premier teams in college football with his spectacular 2024 recruiting class.
