Georgia Basketball vs Arkansas Preview

After suffering their worst loss in of the season. The Bulldogs will look to rebound in Fayetteville against the Arkansas Razorbacks

The Georgia Bulldogs will take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in what will be their second to last road game of the season. This will be the 40th time the two teams face off in a series that Arkansas leads 29-15. 

The Bulldogs are likely still licking their wounds after receiving a 49-point lashing at the hands of the No.1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide last Saturday evening. Unfortunately, they'll have little to no time to recover as they head to Fayetteville to take on an Arkansas team that has lost just twice on their home court all season. 

The Razorbacks were able to snap a two-game losing streak as they took down an injury-ridden Florida team last Saturday to build momentum ahead of a grueling road stretch in which they will take on the likes of Alabama and Tennessee. But, before worrying about playing two top-15 teams on the road, the Razorbacks will need to focus their attention on their matchup against Georgia which has "trap game" potential.

The Bulldogs' offense will need a major game from Terry Roberts who has been quiet since returning from the injury he suffered against Auburn. Roberts' struggles have forced the Bulldogs to lean on guard Justin Hill and Center Braelen Bridges for offensive production. Regardless of who leads Georgia in scoring, the team's supporting cast will need to be efficient.

Arkansas possesses numerous threats offensively and defensively for the Dawgs. Forward Makhel Mitchell has been an anchor for the Razorbacks down low as he leads the team in rebounds and blocks. Anthony Black is the team's most productive player offensively. The freshman guard leads the team in assists and steals while averaging 13 points a game as well.
