Georgia Football DB Ondre Evans Signs LOI on Early National Signing Day

Georgia football defensive back commit Ondre Evans signs his letter of intent on national signing day for the 2024 recruiting class.

It’s December 20th, otherwise known as Early National Signing day on this year’s version of the always hectic College Football calendar. The overwhelming majority of Georgia’s 2024 signing class will be solidified in hard writing today. With 14 signees already enrolled

The latest to sign their LOI is defensive back Ondre Evans. He was committed to LSU at one point in time but then elected to flip his commitment to the Bulldogs in October of this year. He is rated as the number one player in the state of Tennessee and a top-10 defensive back in the class, according to 247Sports composite rankings. 

He has a good size now as a high schooler and uses polished tools that can immediately impact any program. What may bite him in the tail is his eye discipline. An eagerness for the ball isn't the worst thing in the world, but it can easily get you beat against college offenses designed to toy with defenders' eyes. The key thing with Evans is that his development potential is through the roof.
