Georgia Football DL Joseph Jonah-Ajonye Signs Letter of Intent

Georgia football defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye has officially signed his national letter of intent for the 2024 recruiting class on early national signing day.

It’s December 20th, otherwise known as Early National Signing day on this year’s version of the always hectic College Football calendar. The overwhelming majority of Georgia’s 2024 signing class will be solidified in hard writing today. With 17 signees already enrolled.

The latest to sign their LOI is defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye. He is rated as the seventh-best defensive tackle and eighth player in the state of Texas according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

As to why Jonah-Ajonye committed to Georgia, this is what he told Brooks Austin on the Film Guy Network right after his commitment to the Bulldogs:

"Georgia, because, to put it simply, I've created a really good bond with the recruits, and the players, and the coaches. Those are my guys, so they kind of made it an easy decision. And then the development there is crazy. Being able to put really great linemen into the league back to back, that's something that other schools haven't done. And the back-to-back national championships show how dedicated they are to the game. And Coach Smart, he really made me believe in this logo right here. This G. Cause it means a lot to him and at my first visit he gave a speech about what this means to him and I guess it just flowed into me really."
