Dublin's Nasir Johnson Signs Letter of Intent Joining Georgia Football

The Georgia Bulldogs' defensive line group gets bigger with the signing of this 2024 signing.

It’s December 20th, otherwise known as Early National Signing day on this year’s version of the always hectic College Football calendar. The overwhelming majority of Georgia’s 2024 signing class will be solidified in hard writing today. With 17 signees already enrolled.

Nasir Johnson is the latest to sign his LOI and is an elite defensive lineman who comes by way of Dublin High School in Georgia. The 4-star helped bring his high school to a 9-3 record with a 1A Div 1 GHSA playoff berth, where they would eventually lose in the second round to Brooks County. The 6'4", 300 lb defensive lineman is ranked the 21st best defensive lineman in his class according to 247Sports composite rankings. 

Johnson is one of the few 2024 commits not expected to join the rest of his class on campus early as he finishes out his final classes at Dublin. The Dawgs will be back in action on Dec. 30 when they face the No. 5 Florida State Seminoles at 4 p.m. to decide the winner of the Orange Bowl.
