Live Updates: No. 1 Georgia vs. Auburn

Stay updated on Georgia football's week five conference matchup against the Auburn Tigers as they make their first road trip of the season.

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to make their first road trip of the 2023 season as they travel to Jordan-Haire Stadium to take on the Auburn Tigers in "The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry." This will be the 120th matchup between these two teams in a series that the Bulldogs currently lead 63-56.

In last year's matchup, the Bulldogs scorched the Tigers by a score of 42-10 in Athens. However, these two teams have gone through numerous changes since their previous meeting. The Tigers have since hired Hugh Freeze as the team's head coach, and the Bulldogs have a handful of fresh new faces who are ready to make an impact.

It is expected that Georgia will get back several key players from the injury report this week, as defensive back Javon Bullard, wide receiver Ladd McConkey and defensive lineman Mykel Williams are all expected to see the field today. None of the three names listed were participants against UAB a week ago.

Georgia is making its first road trip of the season in week five with an undefeated record thus far in the 2023 season. Auburn, on the other hand, was dealt a loss from Texas A&M during week four.
