Georgia Players who Could Benefit Most From NFL Combine

Kirby Smart's Georgia Bulldog teams have become synonymous with the NFL Draft. After the 2022 NFL Draft saw a record 15 players taken (5 of which were included in the 1st round) The Bulldogs are on the precipice of dominating the NFL Draft once again.

But the NFL Draft has, and likely always will run through the NFL Combine. A camp where players showcase their skills, attributes, and overall mental capacity for the game before the draft takes place. Last year's combine saw players such as Trayvon Walker, Jordan Davis, and Quay Walker all significantly increase their draft stock with impressive performances. So as the 2023 NFL Combine approaches, here is a list of Bulldog prospects that could "make a lot of money" from their performances.

Broderick Jones

The offensive tackle is arguably the second most valuable position in football. Broderick Jones has shown why after quarterback Stetson Bennett was sacked just 9 times in 2022. With the NFL Combine approaching, Jones has the opportunity to display his freak athleticism this year and possibly secure a top-10 spot in the draft.

Kelee Ringo

Kelee Ringo's status as one of the best corners in Bulldog history has allowed him to find himself predicted to go anywhere from the late first to the early second round. However, with an impressive showing in the combine, Ringo could not only become one of the first corners off the board. He also could break the historic 40-yard dash record set by John Ross in 2017.

Darnell Washinton

While "The Big O" did not finish his college career with a super impressive receiving stat line at Georgia. The 6"7 tight end is currently one of the best blocking tight ends available in this year's draft. With a good performance in the combine, Washington could also prove to scouts that he is more than capable of becoming a dominant receiving tight end in the league.

Kenny McIntosh

As one of the most dynamic running backs in program history, Kenny McIntosh has already drawn comparisons to the likes of Alvin Kamara ahead of the combine. Nevertheless, an impressive 40-yard dash paired with "measuring well" in the attributes portion could help McIntosh secure an early second to third-round spot as one of the highest drafted running backs in this year's draft.
