Rodrigo Blankenship Gets Heckled by Baker Mayfield

In this story:
While Georgia's football program is putting in work on the recruiting trail and getting ready for the 2023 season, NFL organizations are also getting prepared for their upcoming season. A long list of rookie Bulldogs are settling into their new homes, along with players that have been in the league for a few seasons now.
One of those players is former Georgia kicker Rodrigo Blankenship who is currently with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One of his teammates down in Florida is former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield who has some history with Blankenship. Back during the 2017 season, Georgia matched up with Oklahoma in the semifinals of the college football playoff, and the Bulldogs edged out Mayfield in his team to move on to the national championship game that year.
So when Blankenship and Mayfield reunited on the same field, the Tampa Bay quarterback had something to say to the former Georgia kicker.

Blankenship originally started his professional career with the Indianapolis Colts, and after being released by them, he was then signed by the Arizona Cardinals. Now Blankenship is looking to hold down the kicking spot in Tampa Bay and continue his journey as a football player.
As a Bulldog, Blankenship won the Lou Garza Award in 2019 and was first-team All-SEC. Then as a rookie with the Colts in 2020, he was named to the All-Rookie team as he at one point led the NFL in points scored during his first season in the NFL.
While it has been nearly six years now since Oklahoma and Georgia played one another in the playoffs, clearly, that historic game hasn't left the minds of the players. Now with Blankenship on Mayfield's team, surely the former Sooner will be more appreciative when the former Bulldog helps out the offense on the special teams unit.
