Former Georgia guard Jusaun Holt announced via Twitter earlier this evening that he would be remaining in the state of Georgia to play basketball for the Kennesaw State Owls during the 2023 season.

This will be Holt's third team in as many seasons, as he previously played for the Alabama Crimson Tide before joining the Bulldogs by way of the transfer portal ahead of the 2021 season.

During the 2022 season, Holt averaged just 3.2 points and one steal per game but became a key role player towards the end of the season when the Bulldogs began suffering injuries. He was frequently complimented by head coach Mike White for his hustle efforts.

Holt will be joining first-year head coach Antoine Pettway, who was a member of Alabama's staff during his time with the team. The connection the two had during their time at Alabama is likely what led to Holt's decision. The Owls are fresh off an appearance in the March Madness Tournament and will be looking to repeat their successes from last year, despite the overturn on their roster.
