Georgia Tech has added a quarterback to its class tonight.

2024 quarterback Aaron Philo (Bogart, GA) gave his commitment to the Yellow Jackets tonight. Philo is a former Minnesota commit and is rated as a three-star player on the 247Sports Composite.

Philo was at Georgia Tech's spring game just a few days after de-committing from the Golden Gophers and it appears as though the Georgia Tech staff has done a great job recruiting him since then.

Here are some accomplishments and stats courtesy of 247Sports director of scouting Andrew Ivins:

"2022: Peach State Class A Division 1 Offensive Player of the Year. Led Prince Avenue Christian to a perfect 14-0 record and a title. Completed 274 of 397 pass attempts (69 percent) for 4,598 yards with 54 TD to go against 8 INT. Also carried the ball 68 times for 361 yards (5.3 average) and 8 more scores. Threw for 5 TD or more in 6 games. That included in the state championship against Swainsboro where he was 21 of 32 for 477 yards with 6 TD and 1 INT. Studied under former college coach Jon Richt."

Philo's other offers include Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, Cincinnati, UConn, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Georgia Southern, James Madison, Liberty, MTSU, Old Dominion, UCF, and Western Michigan.

The 2024 class for Georgia Tech currently ranks 39th (before this commitment) on 247Sports, which is 10th in the ACC.
