Georgia Tech now has two quarterbacks in its 2024 recruiting class.

Three-star quarterback Graham Knowles (Southlake, TX) committed to Georgia Tech today. He joins Aaron Philo as the two quarterbacks in the class and that is going to give Brent Key, Buster Faulkner, and Chris Weinke two quarterbacks to develop for the future.

Knowles has an intriguing skill set and size. He has a terrific arm and at 6'7 220 LBS, Knowles can make the necessary throws in the offense and he has a lot of upside. He is also a two-sport athlete that also plays basketball.

It is not uncommon for programs to take quarterbacks in a class. Georgia Tech needs more talent at each position and talent acquisition and player development are going to be a big part of this coaching staff.

Knowles ranks as the No. 1023 player in the country on the 247Sports Composite and the No. 62 quarterback. Other offers that the Texas quarterback had were from UTSA, Memphis, Colorado State, and UConn. He was reportedly on an official visit to UTSA last weekend.

"Played in 13 games as a junior, including five as a starter following an injury to senior Kaden Anderson (Wyoming 2023 signee). Threw for 1,864 yards, 18 TDs, and 3 INTs on 127-for-174 passing (72.3 completion percentage). Went 3-1 in the playoffs, leading Southlake Carroll to a 13-1 record and the Texas 6A D-II regional final (fourth round)."

Currently, Georgia Tech's class ranks 29th nationally on 247Sports rankings and 10th in the ACC.
