Georgia Tech vs Syracuse: Taking a Look at the Player Prop Bets for Tomorrow's Game

In this story:
One of the more under-the-radar games for this College Football Saturday is going down at Bobby Dodd Stadium between Georgia Tech and Syracuse. While a matchup of two 5-5 teams might not intrigue some, this is a game that means a lot to both fan bases. Both teams can get to a bowl game with a win and considering that Georgia Tech has not been to one since 2018, this would do a lot for the program.
Just ask head coach Brent Key.
"So up until Sunday, I had not said the word at all, it is the same mentality each week, it is a one-game season each week and that is the mentality each week and taken, but yeah on Sunday, I brought it up, I did. This is playoff football now, this is NFL Championship, win and you're in. There is no... there is no dwelling on the last game, it is boom and you have to move on and that is the way it works and we brought it up. We talked about it. It is a big deal for these kids, a really big deal. As an alumni here, it is a really big deal for me, it is a big deal for these guys coming back here, it is a big deal for Georgia Tech, it is a big deal for the athletic association, it is a big deal for the entire Georgia Tech community so heck yeah we talked about it and these guys understand that and know it is something special they have in front of them to work and get."
So what kind of a game should everyone be expecting on Saturday night between these two teams on Saturday night? If you look at the player props on PrizePicks, it shows that Georgia Tech might be in for a decent night on the offensive side of the ball.
The passing yards prop for quarterback Haynes King is set at 225.5. The Orange have the worst passing defense in the ACC so this could be an over for King, who despite a poor performance against Clemson, has been one of the top quarterbacks in the ACC this season.
The rushing yards prop for Jamal Haynes is currently at 84.5. Haynes has gone for 100 yards in back-to-back games and has been one of the top rushers in the ACC (5th in the conference with 768 yards.
The receiving yards props are interesting. Eric Singleton Jr's is set for 64.5 and Malik Rutherford's is 42.5. Singleton was heavily targeted last week against Clemson and has had some huge games this year for Georgia Tech this season. Rutherford could easily go over this number in just one catch due to his speed and ability to get yards after the catch.
There are no props for Syracuse and that is due to the unknown nature of their offense and what the Orange might decide to do tomorrow.
Georgia Tech and Syracuse will kickoff at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow night in Atlanta.
