Georgia Tech vs Wake Forest game time announced
Georgia Tech is getting ready to travel to Oxford to face No. 17 Ole Miss in what will be the Yellow Jackets first matchup against a ranked team this season.
While Brent Key's team is going to be getting ready to try and pull a big upset against an SEC team this weekend, the ACC announced game times for the following week, which is when Georgia Tech travels to Wake Forest.
The Yellow Jackets are going to be playing the Demon Deacons at 6:30 on the CW Network. This is going to be the third evening game of the year already for Georgia Tech, who played Louisville at 7:30 in the opening game of the year and then will play Ole Miss at 7:30 this week on SEC Network.
Wake Forest is 2-0 this year, but have not been tested yet. They have wins over Elon and Vanderbilt so far and the offense has looked explosive so far. The questions for Wake come on the defensive side and Georgia Tech's offense will be the best they have seen. Wake travles to Old Dominion this week and should be 3-0 heading into next week's matchup.
Georgia Tech is 1-1 after their win over South Carolina State and their is reason to be optimistic about the offense. The Yellow Jackets totaled nearly 600 yards and quarterback Haynes King threw for four touchdowns. Defenisvely, this team has a lot to work and they will be tested this week on the road against Lane Kiffin's Ole Miss team.

Georgia Tech leads the all-time series against Wake Forest 23-8, but the two teams have not met since 2017. Georgia Tech has a three game winning streak against the Demon Deacons, with the last win by Wake Forest coming in the 2006 ACC Championship game. Dave Clawson has built a tremendous program at Wake Forest and this will be a tough test for Brent Key's team.
