Adam Morrison thinks Braden Huff has the potential to be Gonzaga's next big-time scorer

"Braden just has a unique skill set to pick and pop," Adam Morrison said on The Perimeter. "I think he has the potential to be one of the next guys who has big-time years and scores it really well.”

With a little more time and development, Adam Morrison thinks Braden Huff has the potential to be the go-to guy for the Gonzaga men's basketball team.

The 6-foot-10 redshirt freshman dropped a career-high 26 points on 12-for-17 shooting in just 20 minutes off the bench in Gonzaga's road victory over San Diego on Jan. 20. It was the most points by a first-year player at Gonzaga since Jalen Suggs had 27 against Iowa in 2020.

Huff's versatile skill set includes touch around the rim, solid footwork and body control parlayed with his 3-point marksmanship that can catch the defense off balance. Not to mention, being a left-handed player has its perks too.

Morrison, who was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, broke down why he believes Huff has the potential to lead Gonzaga in scoring on a new episode of The Perimeter.

"He's super efficient ... he scores in bunches," Morrison said about Huff. "He was the Illinois player of the year and then he took a redshirt year which I think was fantastic for him."

(Morrison's analysis of Huff starts at the 32-minute mark of the video.)
