Drew Timme productive in limited action for Bucks in NBA Summer League victory

Timme scored four points on 1 of 3 shooting

Drew Timme played just seven minutes in his second NBA Summer League appearance, but that didn’t keep the former Gonzaga men's basketball forward from having an impact.

Timme collected four points on 1 of 3 shooting, four rebounds and two assists to help the Milwaukee Bucks defeat the Phoenix Suns 84-75 on Saturday at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas.

Timme’s only field goal was a floater near the baseline three minutes into the second quarter. He scored his other two points off free throws in the fourth quarter.

He was productive as a non-scorer as well, corralling rebounds and assisting his teammates. His efforts helped Milwaukee rally back from a 12-point deficit.

Weeks after signing an Exhibit 10 contact, Timme has come off the bench in both of his Summer League games. He delivered seven points on 3 of 4 shooting in a win over his former Gonzaga teammate Julian Strawther and the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

Timme and the Bucks resume Summer League action at 3 p.m. PST on Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets at Cox Pavilion.
