Talking Zags: What does Luka Krajnovic's injury mean for Gonzaga?

Freshman guard will be out for some time after he broke his hand prior to UConn game

As if the No. 15 Gonzaga Bulldogs weren't already dealing with depth concerns, their rotation is even thinner after freshman guard Luka Krajnovic broke his hand on Saturday.

The 6-foot-5 Croatian suffered the injury during a non-contact shootaround hours before the Zags (8-3) tipped off against No. 5 UConn in Seattle, according to head coach Mark Few. It's unclear how long Few will be without his backup point guard in the rotation, as Gonzaga's backcourt continues to run thin leading into West Coast Conference play.

Starting guards Nolan Hickman and Ryan Nembhard have already logged multiple 40-minute games between the two, and it's likely their workload won't be decreasing anytime soon. Sophomore forward Jun Seok Yeo will also likely be featured more, as the 6-foot-8 wing averages 8.9 minutes off the bench heading into Wednesday's game against Jackson State.

On the latest episode of Talking Zags, Jeff Condill, co-owner of Jack & Dan's and a former Gonzaga guard, joins Dan Dickau and Adam Morrison to talk about the current state of the men's basketball program.
