On Friday, Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle reported that now-former FIU linebacker Donovan Manuel had a private workout with the Miami Dolphins after they held their local prospect day. Manuel broke the school record for most forced fumbles in a single season.

Manuel ranked 19th in FBS in total tackles, 16th in solo tackles and tied for first with five forced fumbles.

Although Manuel isn’t currently expected to be selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, there is always a chance that some final strong workouts will go well for the former Panther and maybe you can see him go into the later rounds of the draft.

These workouts to bring the higher possibility that he can be an undrafted free agent or receive an invite to rookie minicamp. Manuel’s quick movement across the field stands out amongst linebackers along with getting to the ball quickly, which helps explains his nation-leading five forced fumbles.

Other Panthers who currently find themselves in Manuel’s position trying to work their way to the NFL are defensive lineman Jack Daly, wide receiver Jalen Bracey, linebacker Alex Nobles, kicker Lucas Mathias and safety D’Verick Daniel.
