Michael Badejo, the former Texas Southern defensive leader, set a mark in his football career by scoring his first-ever touchdown! This season, he has been a formidable force on the field, wreaking havoc on offenses in the German Football League for the Dresden Monarchs.

In the first half of the Monarch's Week 5 game against the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes, defensive end Michael Badejo began to rush the signal-caller. Cornerback Devonni Reed peeled off his receiver on a corner blitz and separated the football from the quarterback. Badejo alertly picked-up the ball for a nine-yard "scoop and score" to hand the Monarchs a 12-0 lead with 2:54 remaining in the period.

The Monarchs defeated the Hurricanes 22-11, improving their record to 4-0.
