WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Good morning from Indiana as I'm LOOKING LIVE...from Ross-Ade Stadium as Illinois (3-4, 1-3 in Big Ten) plays at Purdue (2-5, 1-3) for an 11 a.m. kickoff. Illinois, which is a nine-point road underdog today is obviously coming off arguably the biggest upset in the 2019 college football season. Illinois will face the Big Ten's best passing attack under head coach Jeff Brohm.

Illini/Boilermakers Pre-Game Coverage
Injury Update: Illinois quarterbacks just came on the field for pre-game warm-ups and no surprise but Isaiah Williams is not on the field. The freshman was not active for practice Tuesday.
- I'm also not seeing junior wide receiver Ricky Smalling (lower body) during pre-game warmups. Without the services of Smalling,
Illinois officials announce: DE Oluwole Betiku Jr., WR Ricky Smalling, QB Isaiah Williams and DB Delano Ware are out with injuries.

Illinois wins the toss and defers to second half. It'll be the Illini defense vs. Jack Plummer and Jeff Brohm's offensive play-calling to start this game.
Illinois starts Tony Adams at cornerback today. Lovie Smith said they're not tinkering for that move.

12:19 left in 1st - No score: Purdue opening drive stalls as Illini effectively cover perimeter runs and get pressure on Plummer on third down.
