STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Indiana has never won a football game at Penn State in 10 tries, but this Hoosiers team is different. They've never wanted to be measured against Indiana's often-ugly past, and against what they're doing now.

Now has been pretty impressive, which is evident by Indiana's 7-2 record and four-game winning streak in the Big Ten. Getting a fifth win might be tough Saturday against Penn State, but to a man, the Hoosiers say they're ready.

Here are the particulars:

  • Who: Indiana Hoosiers (7-2, 4-2 in Big Ten) vs. Penn State Nittany Lions (8-1, 5-1 in Big Ten
  • When: Noon ET, Saturday, Nov. 16
  • Where: Beaver Stadium, State College, Pa.
  • Line: Penn State is a 14.5-point favorite
  • AP poll rankings: Penn State is No. 9, Indiana is No. 24
  • TV: ABC
  • Announcers: Jason Bennetti, Rod Gilmore, Quint Kessenich
  • Radio: Indiana Radio Network
  • Announcers: Don Fischer, Buck Suhr, Joe Smith

In our "3 Things'' video this week, I'll break down some topics that matter, like not letting the noise at Beaver Stadium get to them, how important it's going to be to run the ball and how much the Indiana defense needs to rise up and play it's best game of the year.

There's no doubt Indiana is catching Penn State at the perfect time. The Nittany Lions were unbeaten and ranked No. 4 in the first College Football Playoff poll, but then they lost to unbeaten Minnesota on the road last week.

They might still be stinging from that game, and they also may be looking ahead a bit to a showdown with unbeaten Ohio State next week. That might be something the Hoosiers can take advantage of on Saturday.
