Iowa football added its 20th known verbal commitment Saturday when Tampa (FL) Jesuit high receiver Jarriett Buie announced his choice on social media. He officially visited the Hawkeyes at the end of October.

Buie (6-3, 190) addresses a position in need with the Hawkeyes. He and Marion's Alex Mota are the two receivers verbally committed in 2023 Class.

Iowa has started three scholarship receivers in its last two games. He's suffered through injuries at the position this season.

Buie attends the same high school that sent Dane Belton to the Hawkeyes. Belton has been playing as a rookie safety with the New York Giants this season after spending three campaigns in college.

In 10 games as a senior, Buie caught 33 passes for 505 yards and five touchdowns, according to MaxPreps.com. He averaged 25.7 yards on three kick returns and 40.0 yards on a pair of punt returns.

HERE is a look at Buie's senior highlights.
