CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Cedar Rapids Kennedy High dismisses students from classes every Friday at 1:20 p.m. central time. They usually meet up with friends and embark on the weekend. On this Friday, they headed to the school cafeteria. 

Their classmate, Nick Brooks, was announcing his decision on where he'd play college football. He'd trimmed his list to five schools - Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee and Iowa. 

After everyone settled into the room where they eat lunch, Brooks let them all know he was staying home with the Hawkeyes. The place erupted.
