Aaron Bradshaw shares why the 2023-24 Kentucky basketball team will succeed

In this story:

Wednesday was Kentucky Basketball Media Day, where we got to hear from all of the players and Coach Calipari.

At one point, five-star freshman big man Aaron Bradshaw was asked about what will make this team so successful.

He responded," Talent, there's a lot of talent on this court. I ain't going to lie. Especially with this team, there is a lot of talent and versatility and a lot of dogs. This is a whole team full of dogs. Regardless of who we face, we are going to go at them."

We knew this Kentucky team had plenty of talent and versatility, but hearing that they all share this dog mentality will be a big deal on the court.

Sometimes, you need players to be able to step up and deliver in a clutch moment, which is a big part of having a dog mentality, so hearing that Bradshaw believes this team possesses that is a good thing.

Hopefully, Bradshaw is going to be good to go sooner than later on the court, as he is dealing with an injury that will keep him off the court for the first few weeks of the season.

The more we hear the Cats talking about their teammates and the mentality on this basketball team it, gives me more confidence in how good this team will be for Coach Cal this season.
