Kentucky Lands Commitment from 2024 3-Star Athlete Jiquavious Marshall

Marshall is the fourth pledge to the Wildcats in the last three days.

Stop me if you've heard this before: Kentucky football continues to pick up steam on the recruiting trail.

Just hours after adding 3-star running back Tovani Mizell, head coach Mark Stoops and the Wildcats have landed another 3-star commitment, in athlete Jiquavious Marshall.

The Macon, Ga. product announced his commitment on Twitter:

Defensive backs coach Chris Collins led the recruitment for Marshall, a 6-foot-4, 180-pounder from Westside High School. He's ranked as the No. 539 overall player, No. 24 athlete and No. 64 player from Georgia in the 2024 class, per the On3 Consensus

Marshall is the latest player to visit Lexington in June and follow things up with a pledge to the Cats. He had also taken an official visit to Florida State and had an OV scheduled with Georgia Tech. He also held offers from the likes of Michigan, West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Nebraska.

Playing wideout and cornerback in high school, defensive back could be the likely route in college ball for Marshall. He joins Mizell, 3-star interior offensive lineman Jadon Lafontant and specialist Jacob Kauwe as recruits to commit to UK in the last three days.

In total, Kentucky now has eight pledges to the '24 class, headlined by 4-star quarterback Cutter Boley.
