LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Former Louisville men's basketball standout and current Milwaukee Bucks forward Jordan Nwora on the move, and he's going to be lot closer to his alma mater.

The third-year wing has been traded to the Indiana Pacers ahead of Thursday's 3:00 p.m. NBA trade deadline, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

It's a three-way deal between the Bucks, Pacers, and the Brooklyn Nets, and revolves around Nets forward Jae Crowder, whom the Nets acquired from the Phoenix Suns the night before in their trade of Kevin Durant. The Bucks receive Crowder, the Nets receive five second round picks from the Bucks, and the Pacers receive Nwora, Serge Ibaka and two second round picks from the Bucks.

The 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward has been mostly a rotational piece during his first three years in the NBA with Milwaukee, appearing in 130 games but making just 18 starts. So far this season, Nwora has appeared in 38 of the Bucks' 54 games with three starts, putting up 6.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 15.7 minutes per game.

Nwora is one of nine former Cardinals to have ever won an NBA Championship, doing so in 2021 as a rookie when the Bucks took down the Suns in six games. Milwaukee drafted him in the second round of the 2020 NBA Draft with the 45th overall pick.

As a junior for Louisville during the 2019-20 season, the Buffalo, NY native led the Cardinals in points per game with 18.0 and was second in rebounding with 7.7. He was the only player to be ranked in the ACC's top ten in points, rebounding, free throw percentage, field goal percentage and three-pointers made per game. He was named a First Team All-ACC selection and a Third Team All-American by the Associated Press.
