LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After suffering yet another decisive beatdown by the hands of Pitt, the Louisville men's basketball program is staying on the road for a rematch of their ACC opener against Miami.

The Cardinals and Panthers were competitive over the first six minutes of the game, then everything completely fell apart for Louisville. They shot only 27.6 percent from the field to Pitt's 54.9, resulting in a 91-57 shellacking. Not only was it their worst loss of the season by margin, but it set the program's single-season loss record in the process.

As for the Hurricanes, they are one of four teams in the ACC to have won at least 10 games in league play this season, and have a solid chance of winning the conference altogether. Since facing Louisville way back in December, Miami has won 11 of their last 15 games, and are currently riding a three-game win streak over Virginia Tech, Clemson and Duke.

This will be the 21st all-time meeting between Louisville and Miami, with the Cardinals holding a 13-7 series advantage. When these two teams last faced earlier this season on Dec. 4, 2022 in what was the ACC opener for both team, the Hurricanes won a decisive 80-53 matchup in the KFC Yum! Center.
