LOUISVILLE, Ky. - For the fifth NCAA Tournament in a row, the Louisville women's basketball program is back in the Elite Eight. This time around, they are set to face Iowa with a trip to Dallas for the Final Four on the line.

The fifth-seeded Cardinals had a wild ride to the Seattle 4 regional final. They had to hold off a furious upset attempt by 12th-seeded Drake in the opening round, eventually winning 83-81, then turned around and pulled off an upset of their own with a 73-51 thrashing of No. 4 Texas. Louisville was able to overcome No. 8 Ole Miss - who toppled top-seeded Stanford - in the Sweet Sixteen, smothering them for a 72-62 win.

As for the second-seeded Hawkeyes, all three of their NCAA Tournament games up to this point have been double digit wins. They opened up their run in the Big Dance by obliterating Southeastern Louisiana 95-43, then followed that up with a 74-66 win over No. 10 Georgia and an 87-77 victory over No. 6 Colorado. Iowa guard Caitlin Clark, who is the frontrunner for Naismith Player of the Year, has averaged 26.3 points, 10.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds in this year's NCAA Tournament.
