Louisville Hosting Multiple Commits, Over 100 Prospects vs. Boston College

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Under the previous regime, getting prospects on campus played a huge role in the Louisville football program's capabilities out on the recruiting trail. First head coach Jeff Brohm has seemingly adopted this approach as well, already holding three major recruiting weekends this past June, while also touching on its importance earlier this week.

"it's always great to have them here during games," Brohm said. "It's great for them to see the great setup we'd have here at the stadium, and the fan support. This is an NFL-style stadium, with everything they need and more. Of course, winning is what matters as well, so all those things tie together."

When the Cardinals take on Boston College this weekend for their first home ACC game under Brohm, they'll have plenty of recruits in town to watch. In fact, Louisville Report has confirmed that the program will be hosting a total of 109 prospects for their game this Saturday against the Eagles.

Of Louisville's 15 verbal commitments in the Class of 2024, seven of them will be on campus this weekend. This includes Austin (Tex.) Vandegriftt quarterback Deuce Adams, Homestead (Fla.) HS running back Isaac Brown, Radcliff (Ky.) North Hardin wide receiver Shaun Boykins, Indianapolis (Ind.) Decatur Central defensive lineman M.J. Campbell, Cleveland (Oh.) Glenville offensive guard Fred Johnson, Noblesville (Ind.) HS offensive tackle Ransom McDermott and Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage offensive tackle Jimmy Williams III.

Louisville will also have a decent amount of blue chip talent in town to watch them take on Boston College. Including Brown, the Cardinals will have nine visitors on campus that are inside the top-500 of the 247Sports Composite's rankings. This includes another top-500 Class of 2024 prospect in Pickerington (Oh.) Central tight end Tayvion Galloway and a top-100 2025 prospect in Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Siegel cornerback Tarrion Grant.

The other six top-500 prospects that will be in town, all in the Class of 2025, are Paducah (Ky.) Tilghman safety Martels Carter Jr., Dyersburg (Tenn.) HS defensive lineman Kalen Edwards, Baton Rouge (La.) University Laboratory defensive back Jayden Gloston, Zionsville (Ind.) HS wide receiver Eugene Hilton Jr., Chattanooga (Tenn.) Oakland running back Daune Morris and Detroit (Mich.) Martin Luther King defensive end Xavier Newsom.
