Watch: Louisville HC Jeff Walz at 2023 Media Day

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Media Days are a sure sign that college basketball is just around the corner, and the Louisville women's basketball program held theirs on Tuesday.
Gathering in the Planet Fitness Kueber Center on the campus of the University of Louisville, head coach Jeff Walz and the entire Cardinals roster all had the chance to talk with the local media regarding the upcoming 2023 season.
"It's hard to believe it's here," Walz said. "We're less than a week away from our first game. As you obviously all know, we start at Cincinnati on the sixth, and then it's it's here. We're right in the middle of practice, now we're starting to put more game situation things in and still trying to get to know everybody's name.
"But it's been a wonderful, wonderful few months and exciting to see what this ball club can do as we start playing games. Practice has been very spirited. Everybody's got a great attitude. Our chemistry is fantastic. But as I always say, playing time has not been been distributed yet. I think as that goes on, we're going to find out, 'Okay, how does everyone accept their role?' then they're going to be able to tell me show me what their roles need to be."
Louisville Report was there for it all, and had the chance to talk to Walz. Below is the video from his Media Day press conference:
