LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A huge part of the Louisville football program's success out on the recruiting trail over the last two years has been their ability to get recruits on campus for visits. It was a heavy emphasis for their targets in the 2023 cycle, and it wound up being one of the best recruiting classes in program history.

Now, Louisville is looking to replicate that success in the 2024 class, which is the first full recruiting cycle under new head coach Jeff Brohm.

Over the last few days, several Class of 2024 prospects announced on social media that they would be taking an official visit to campus at some point during the month of June. Most of the announcements were made using graphics provided by the UofL recruiting department, and most of the prospects have already been on campus once before.

Two of the prospects planning on visiting are those already committed to Louisville. Noblesville (Ind.) HS offensive tackle Ransom McDermott will visit during the weekend of June 2-4, while Saline (Mich.) HS tight end Dylan Mesman plans on coming two weeks later for the weekend of June 16-18.

During that first weekend of June, Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School linebacker Trent Carter will be accompanying McDermott to Louisville. He is ranked as the No. 93 linebacker in the class and No. 142 prospect in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports' in-house rankings.

A trio of prospects announced that they will be on campus a week later for the weekend of June 9-11: Germantown (Tenn.) HS defensive end D.J. Allen, Theodore (Ala.) HS defensive lineman Kevin Norwood and Cornelius (N.C.) William Amos Hough safety Jaiden Spearman. According to 247Sports' in-house rankings, Allen is the No. 106 edge rusher in the class, Spearman is the No. 173 "athlete" and Norwood is an unranked prospect.

Tagging along with Mesman for the weekend of June 16-18 will be Clarkston (Mich.) HS cornerback/athlete Desman Stephens II. He is the No. 745 ranked prospect in the cycle according to the 247Sports Composite.

Louisville currently sports a seven-man 2024 recruiting class, and like the 2023 cycle, it is on pace to be one of the best in school history. The class ranks as the third-highest in the ACC and No. 19 in the nation, according to On3.
