Kickoff Times Released for Louisville's First Three Games of 2023 Season

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With the start of the 2023 season for the Louisville football program now officially less than 100 days away, the Cardinals have learned the kickoff times and TV designations for their first three games of the upcoming season.

Their first two games will kickoff in prime time, starting with a trip down to Atlanta, Ga on Friday, Sept. 1 for a matchup with Georgia Tech in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The season-opener against the Yellow Jackets will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.

The next week, Louisville will face Murray State on Thursday, Sept. 7 at L&N Stadium for the first home game of the Jeff Brohm era. The home-opener against the Racers will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. EST on the ACC Network.

Finally, Louisville will head up north for another neutral site matchup, this time taking on Indiana at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. on Saturday, Sept. 16. Kickoff against the Hoosiers is set for 12:00 p.m. EST on the Big Ten Network.

Louisville finished last season with an overall mark of 8-5 and 4-4 in ACC play, including a 24-7 win in the Fenway Bowl against Cincinnati. Following head coach Scott Satterfield's departure for, ironically, the Bearcats, UofL hired Brohm away from Purdue.
