From The Pink Seats: Episodes 94, 95 - Breaking Down Louisville's New Offense and Defense

On this doubleheader, the guys break down the schemes used by new Cardinals head coach Jeff Brohm while at Purdue.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - It's a double dose of content today on "From The Pink Seats."

In this doubleheader, Louisville Report deputy editor Matt McGavic, State of Louisville co-founder Jacob Lane and former UofL fullback/student assistant coach Vincent Lococo break both the offensive and defensive schemes that new Louisville football head coach Jeff Brohm utilized while formerly at Purdue.

First comes a dive into the new 4-2-5 defensive system ran by co-defensive coordinators Ron English and Mark Hagen. The guys break down how the staff additions, new players, departing players, and new roles are going to impact the Cardinals' trajectory. Then they discuss who replaces impact playmakers like YaYa Diaby, Yasir Abdullah and Kei'Trel Clark, as well as which transfers are ready to impact day one.

Then they guys shift gears and take a look at what Louisville will be getting out of a Jeff and Brian Brohm-led offense. They dive into changes made this offseason to the staff and roster as well, then take an extensive look at the Air-Raid offense, including some of Brohm's concepts and why there are some great stats and a few points of concern.
